LA Recording Session
August 26, 2009

This past July, I and my Columbia College MFA colleagues had the honour and privilege to have some of the finest musicians in the world play our thesis film scores in Los Angeles. It was the culmination of a lot of blood, sweat, and sleep deprivation, and the results for all of us were nothing short of stunning. The incredible Eimear Noone conducted 4/5ths of my score, and I had the humbling and inspiring job of conducting the final cue. Many thanks to (Meister) Nathaniel Smith for having snapped me on the podium.
My utmost best wishes to all of my friends who are in the process of moving out there now.
May the wind be at your backs, and may the LA rental market be kind.
Namaste.

Great stuff, D.
‘Gypsy Throwdown’ left me gasping for air–in a good way.
